When Curvy Kate launched there were very few female body shapes represented by the media. Curvy Kate received hundreds of emails from customers who wanted to see how our lingerie ranges would look on their body shape. Responding to this request; Curvy Kate launched the Star in a Bra competition, turning one curvaceous lady into the poster girl for women everywhere.

Over the years the competition has grown and all types of women have modelled for the brand. We’ve seen teachers, students, police officers and writers; all celebrating an all-inclusive, self-affirming message. Championing the use of relatable role models, this year the Star in a Bra winner takes away a modelling contact with esteemed Model Agency TRUE Model Management.
